Part 1 [31/1/13]
"Well, that was a good day," Jaz says.
"Yes," Chris replies. "You got a Battle Droid model and I got Sonic Generations."
"Plus we had a lovely pork sandwich each."
"Oh! How could I forget that! They're just so nice!"
"Yes. I remember that time you wanted to back for one."
Jaz and Chris were the best of friends. They had all the same likes, and both had a creative streak. The former dark and the latter pale, Jaz had black hair and Chris had shorter brown hair. They were both roughly the same size.
Taking a left turn up a road and to their usual path through a gulley surrounded by greenery, they could get to the college quicker than the normal route. They had some time left before the next lesson, but they wanted time to rest after the walking they had done.
The first sign of the college came as they exited the gulley. The two then cross the road and walk into the college grounds through the car park entrance.
"There are only a few people around it seems," Chris says.
"Yes," Jaz agrees. "Indeed- Wait! They're not people. It's Battle Droids!"
"Are you- It is."
"Hey!" one of the Battle Droids call. It then runs up to them. "Sorry to disturb you, but we're looking for someone called The Doctor and his apprentice, DarkRula. Do you know where they are?"
"No. Sorry," Jaz replies.
"Nope. Never heard of them at all," Chris adds.
The two start walking away, through the car park of the college, but the Battle Droid shouts "Wait!" and the two look back.
"Have you ever shot anything before?" the Battle Droid then asks.
"God! We're college students!" Jaz exclaims. "They don't teach us to use guns in a media course." he then adds, with his voice injected with sarcasm in the last five words.
The Battle Droid then seems to start shaking, announcing "Oh, my circuitry seems to be going haywi- AAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The Battle Droid then drops its gun and electrical currents start spreading across its body. Jaz and Chris turn away and walk to Block 7 again.
"How are we doing for time?" Jaz asks.
"Dead on time we should be in," Christ says, checking his watch.
"Oh well, it's not like we need to be dead on time anyway. Besides, there's at least a two minute wait when we get there for Scott to come."
The two continue walking to Block 7, where they reach the doors and see no-one on the lower floor. Taking the stairs up, they turn right to look outside the classroom door. No-one is outside.
"Maybe they're already in," Chris says.
Jaz walks forward, with Chris following, and opens the door, saying "Sorry we're late Sco-" when he is brought up short.
Looking up at them from the seats where the class should be sat, either at the sides of the large table in the middle of the classroom or around it on the computers, are twenty Battle Droids.
Part 2 [7/2/13]
"This sure is weird," Chris states.
"I agree dear chap," Jaz says. "What do you think is going on?"
"The droids are trying to draw us out."
"You think? Why did they mention our characters?"
"Are you going to come in and sit down?" the Battle Droid stood at the front of the class asks.
Chris ignores this question completely and continues talking with Jaz. "Because they know our characters, and probably want to meet the creators or them. They've probably come here from another universe and want to kill the creators of the characters so that our characters cannot harm them any long-"
"Hold on," the Battle Droids says. "Did you say our?"
The conversation was brought up short.
"Oops," Chris says.
"Come on, dear chap," Jaz states. "I say... we run?"
The two run down the stairs. Looking back, the droids weren't coming just yet, so they continue to run. Out of Block 7, they run the path between Block 4 and the car park.
"Oh. One more thing!" Jaz says. Veering right into the car park, through the bushes, he heads to the fallen Battle Droid, which was still there, and picks up its blaster. "Just in case," he then says as he reaches Chris' side.
"And now we run," Chris says.
The two run out of the main campus, following the same route they used to get to the college, down the side road and onto the main road, where they follow the road from the right, then around the roundabout from the right side.
Taking the usual route through the churchyard, the two reach the main town centre of Halesowen. Slowly, they walk forward looking around in case any Battle Droids decided to jump them. As they walk forward, Jaz pockets the stolen blaster and says, "Chris, I have a bad feeling about this."
Part 3 [1/3/13]
For one, there isn’t anyone around. It is eerily quiet.
Walking forward, the two look inside the shops, but all of them are empty. When they reach the main shopping mall, even that is empty.
Still walking slowly, the two look around at the shops. As they pass Gamestation, a smash of glass makes both Jaz and Chris whip round to face the window to see nothing but broken glass.
A laser bolt then rips between the space of the two teens. Chris then spots something. “Commando Droids.”
Revealed, they flip over the bench. Two of them. Matte black and gleaming. Jaz and Chris run, with Chris shouting “Jaz! What happened to that blaster you salvaged!”
“Erm…” Jaz looks down at his pockets and spots the blaster in a pocket. “Aha! There it is.” Swiping it, he looks at it, and stops. Chris stops as well. “Erm… Chris, you use it.” Jaz then tosses the blaster to Chris, who sights up on a Commando Droid and shouts “Yes! Mandalorian time! Eat laser, buckethead!” He then turns to Jaz. “Run. I’ll cover you.”
Jaz runs, and Chris snaps off five shots, turns and runs, then twists and fires two more shots, before spotting Jaz and running into ASDA. Both run up the stairs and reach the café.
“Have you noticed we are the only people here?” Jaz asks.
“I know,” Chris replies. “We was only gone for twenty minutes, and everyone seems to have disappeared. This is getting stranger all the time.”
“Hmm. I agree, dear chap… There is more to this than meets the eye.”
“Maybe if we could find out where everyone has got to…” Chris says, getting a drink out of his bag.
“Indeed… But first of all, we need to try and avoid all these droids.”
“Especially the Commando’s.” Chris puts his drink back after having a swig, and swings his bag back onto his shoulders.
The two then walk back to the stairs and look down them before slowly walking down. At the ground floor, in the indented exit of the stairs, and Jaz looks around the wall. It appears clear.
“Hmm… Interesting. I can’t see them at all… I can tell this is a trap.”
“Well we have a blaster,” Chris says, “so why not use it?” Jaz nods and Chris continues. I go out first. If I call, then it’s okay to come out.”
“Good point. Well… It’s now or never!”
Chris then remembers that he had left the blaster on a table when he had took a drink, and forgot to pick it up. Instead of telling Jaz this, he runs around the corner and sees nothing. Calling Jaz, Jaz then runs around the corner as well. The two start walking
down an isle of clothes, when the two Commando Droids jump from another isle and land in front of them.
Chris then feels a pressure against his thigh and reaches down to feel the blaster. Bringing it up with speed, he sights it on one of the Commando Droids.
“Surrender. We have you now,” one of the Commando Droids intone.
“Well, technically, dear chaps, if you think about it, we outnumber you,” Jaz says.
“They aren’t stupid like the B-1’s,” Chris whispers to Jaz, as the Commando Droid says “I do not think so.”
Marching then sounds up, and Jaz and Chris turn around to see a squad of B-1 Battle Droids walking up the isles. Those isles are then ripped away, and in place of them line Super Battle Droids and Droidekas.
“Put your weapon down,” one of the Commando Droids says.
Chris does as he is told, whispering to Jaz as he does, “There are too many of them, and personally, I’d like to live through this.”
“Hm. I agree with you,” Jaz whispers back.
One of the Super Battle Droids then walks up to the two and puts binders on both of them. The Commando Droids level their blasters upon the two, and fire upon them.
Crazy Shorts are simple stories that only take a short amount of time to write. Maybe just one part, or one episode of up to six parts. If a crazy short is started, it won't conflict with other stories on here. In other words, the two regular parts uploaded of the main stories, plus a part of this. Bear in mind though, that the upload of these will be random and not follow a timetable of additions like the main stories do.
